Visitor/Tourist visas - options for Czech, Slovak and Slovenian citizens

There are several ways you can apply for a Visitor/Tourist visa, as set out below.  Please note that if you obtain an online (electronic) visa from the internet or an authorised travel agent you will not receive a visa label. The visa is stored electronically.

(If you are intending to travel to Australia for business purposes, please see: Business Short Stay visas.)

i) Option 1: apply for an eVisitor via the internet - for stays of up to 3 months only

From 27 October 2008, eligible applicants can use the eVisitor service to apply online (on the internet) to stay in Australia for up to 3 months. With an eVisitor, you can visit Australia on multiple occasions in the 12 months immediately after the eVisitor is granted.

For more information, see: About eVisitor
To make an application, see: Online Applications - eVisitor
We recommend that you apply at least 2 weeks before you intend to travel to Australia.

Please note that eVisitor applications are processed in Australia, not at the Australian Embassy Vienna.  After you have made an application, you can check its status online using the reference number given to you during the application process.  See: E-Business Systems - Status Request
If you have any technical problems with your eVisitor application, you can send an email request for assistance to eVisitor.Helpdesk@immi.gov.au

ii) Option 2: apply for an electronic Tourist visa (e676) via the internet  - for stays of up to 12 months
