Who is this visa for?
Temporary Residence visas allow the temporary stay in Australia of people who can contribute to the economic, cultural and social development of the Australian community. How to apply
Applications for the visas in the Visa Types list below may be made at the Australian Embassy Vienna.
Note: Other temporary residence visas can only be applied for in Australia. See: Temporary Visas Processed in Australia

To make an application for any of the visas listed below, please provide the documents in the Document Checklist below. Applications may be made by mail/courier or in person with a lodgement appointment. See: Contact us. Please note that if you choose to apply in person we may not be able to make a decision on your application the same day.
Please note that some Temporary Residence visas require lodged or approved sponsorship/nomination from an employer or other organisation in Australia which must be obtained before a visa can be lodged. Please read the application form and website information carefully to determine whether this applies to your application.
